Welcome to a new era in operator safety. CBS ArcSafe is raising the bar once again with the latest addition to the Chicken Switch® family of products with the RSK-CSH-W Chicken Switch Hitter. The RSK-CSH-W is a wireless remote switching kit (RSK) designed to safely operate pushbutton applications and breaker control switches from up to 100 feet away to keep technicians outside the arc flash boundary during operation. Dual linear actuators allow technicians to trip and close equipment with pushbuttons requiring up to 10 ft-lb of force and is adjustable for buttons spaced 1.125 to 3 inches (center-to-center). The RSK-CSH-W also operates pistol grip control switches like the Electroswitch Series 24/24P and GE SB-1.
Powered by Milwaukee M18 REDLITHIUM battery technology, the Chicken Switch Hitter system attaches magnetically to switchgear without requiring modifications or equipment downtime. An articulating arm and integrated laser alignment system ensures precise positioning while the motorized actuator and adjustable linear actuators ensure reliable operation across various equipment setups from manufacturers including ABB, Eaton, General Electric, Schneider Electric, Siemens, and Square D.
